When you have an emergency, the time it takes for help to arrive can be the difference between life and death. An ambulance takes an average of 10 minutes to get to the scene of an accident – too late to be for help in some cases. The EDD seeks to save lives by bridging the gap between the time it takes to call for help and the time it takes for help to arrive. Essentially, the drone is an all-purpose medical kit with emergency supplies for lifesaving procedures.
